Winters here take cover!!!

Wow! Didn’t that happen quickly.

So I must be getting on a bit now, i’m COLD.  I’ve always quite liked the cool crisp air of winter but this year it’s just hit me like a herd of elephants.

This has got me thinking….. I’ve had my boiler serviced and the chimney swept but there’s drafts everywhere.  Going round the house there’s a breeze coming from under the front door, through the letterbox, in the keyhole through the vents and just about every other place you can imagine.

However, I spent about £50 on materials and 3 hours filling gaps and putting covers and seals on things and WOW, the difference is amazing.

Why not not have a little look round your house (when the wind is blowing is best time) and see if you could do with some TLC on your fixtures and fittings.  If you don’t want to do it your self why not give us a call or drop us a line by email and we could do it for you.

  1. Have a happy Christmas everyone and a great new year
